This is a great opportunity for those looking to develop transferrable leadership skills for future professional careers in any field. The Summer Camp Counselors will be trained in leadership principles and philosophy, program management and logistics, communication skills, and conflict resolution. CPR certification is also provided.
Member Duties : Maintain accurate and timely reports and timecards. • Supervising camp staff • Organize staff schedule • Pre-camp meeting/ Post camp debriefing • Supervise participants ages 7-11 • Facilitating and participating in group activities • Overseeing transitions to and from scheduled events and lessons • Assist with set-up & clean-up each day of camp • Managing behavior and interpersonal conflicts • Communication with parents • Help coordinate field trips and transportation plans • Maintaining an inventory of equipment and supplies • Record keeping
