Job Summary

This position includes day to day production, setting up, and operation of manual looping machines to process parts to blueprint specifications.

Reporting To

Production Supervisor

Essential Job Functions

• Set-up and break down tools to machine.
• Program set-up system.
• Produce parts at a given production rate.
• Troubleshoot problems.
• Properly maintain equipment and tooling.
• Verifies product meets customer expectations during production run.
• Performs routine and preventative maintenance to machines.
• Follows company safety and PPE policies while recommending improvements as they are identified.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on quality work.
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work overtime when required to meet customer demand.
• Ability to perform quality checks on parts utilizing the proper instruments.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• minimum 2 years’ experience in looping and/or equivalent machine operation and setup in manufacturing setting required.

Physical Requirements

Paragon Medical - Southington is a manufacturing environment. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position, including sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time. The employee is expected to perform actions that include bending, kneeling, or crouching, push, and/or pull objects.
