CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver
Home Daily
Spotting and local shuttling, Flex driver - picking up loads from Norfolk, VA and bring back to New Bern.
When there are no loads at the Norfolk port, they will FLEX to help out with shuttles as needed.
Pay:

Pay:
- Shuttle 1st shift-$21/hr
- Shuttle 2nd shift-$22/hr
- Switcher 1st shift-$22/hr
- Switcher 2nd shift-$23/hr
Schedule:
- 1st: 5 AM - 4PM
- 2nd: 4pm to 4am
- Monday to Friday with some Saturdays, at customers discretion
- 50-60 hours

Job Requirements:
- Must have a Class A CDL in NC
- TWIC card preferred
- No job hoppers
Minimum Experience (Tractor Trailer/OTR)
- At least 1 year experience in the past 3 years, with comparable equipment
- At least 2 years experience in the past 5 years, with comparable equipment
- Local experience will count if the driver has been driving in the same states as regional position*
MVR Driving Record:
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years and no more than 4 in the past 5 years
- No suspension, revocation, or cancellation as a result of a moving violation or accident in the past 5 years
- No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the past 5 years
- Cannot have more than 2 moving violations and/or preventable accidents within the past 3 years (citations or convictions). Accidents/violations with the same date count as 1 event.
Non-MVR Driving Record:
- Candidate with more than 2 preventable accidents/incidents within the previous 3 years need to be reviewed by the recruiting manager
Other disqualifications:
- All convictions DUI/DWI must be at least 8 years old, only 1 in a lifetime, never in a commercial vehicle
- Cannot currently hold an "Occupational" or "Restricted" license
- No fatal accidents from violating traffic law or negligence
- No failing or refusing Drug or Alcohol test
