Assistant Vice President, Financial Performance

Direct Hire

Hybrid - 3 days onsite (T - TH) Monday and Friday Remote

Performance Incentive Plan (10% to 17%) + relocation package + excellent Benefit Plan that includes 401(k)

Top 3 must haves:

Financial institution experience (bank/credit union)
Funds Transfer Pricing experience (FTP)
Experience reviewing/working with branches on some level

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop Profitability and Performance Systems to track and report the following:

  • Tracking production including loan disbursements, deposit balance growth, credit cards opened, small business referrals, VIS referrals, call center assists, and others.
  • For Branches and Regions: Track the financial performance, profitability, and production for branches. Develop reporting for regional profitability based on geography and company structure.
  • For Lines of Business: Track Line of Business profitability and production for Consumer Lending, Mortgage Lending, Business Services, Credit Cards, and Investment Services.

For Departments: Track profitability and financial performance of Departments, rolling up to summaries by Senior Team. Assess if departments are performing according to their established AOP targets

  • For products: Report and track Profitability
  • Track the financial returns, profitability, and production of acquired financial institutions.
  • Position will be responsible for implementing profitability software with instrument level analysis. Incorporation of Funds Transfer Pricing and Risk-Adjusted Return on Capital is expected.
  • Responsible for preparing analysis of performance metrics relative to peers for benchmarking purposes.

Developing and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as senior management and department heads, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
  • Assist Member Services team with development of Branch and Contact Center goals based on historical production metrics and market opportunity.
  • Develop financial pro forma for new branches in the Branch Expansion Plan with considerations of market potential, competitive landscape, and other available market data.
  • Responsible for analysis of deposit growth and pricing including preparing Deposit Updates and Rate Recommendations for ALCO.
  • Assist with Mergers and Acquisitions, working with Finance M&A Manager and Accounting as needed.
  • Responsible for tracking ROI on M&A projects.
  • Execute special projects for the CFO and the overall Finance Team.
  • The AVP, Financial Performance will work very closely with: Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting, Financial Risk Management., Capital Planning and Stress Testing, Other outside departments including the product stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
