Wound Care Nurse Responsibilities:
- As a wound care nurse you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments.
- You will monitor activities performed by nursing assistants and other nurses in your unit.
- You will chart and maintain documentation for residents.
- You will prepare and administer medications.
- You will develop and maintain a positive working rapport with all team members.
Wound Care Nurse Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- A valid, current nursing license in Illinois.
- Current CPR certification.
- At least three years experience in long term care.
