Description/Comment:

• REMOTE: 100% Remote
• EDUCATION: Bachelors degree at a minimum
• Lead efforts to design, build and configure application, acting as the primary lead for HCL Commerce development.
• Understand the platform architecture, functionality, technology, and development processes
• Lead application development efforts and provide oversight/direction to a team of 4 HCL commerce developers. Lead and conduct code reviews. Attend and participate in daily Scrum of Scrums meeting on an as-needed basis
• Lead sizing and story effort estimation in Sprint Refinement meetings
• Review, validate, and where necessary create procedural documentation as it pertains to the software engineering process
• Escalate any risks or issues with deliverables or milestones with the Delivery Lead and Caterpillar Project Manager

Technology:

• HCL Commerce/IBM WebSphere Commerce
• Java and J2EE development (e.g. JSP, EJB, JPA, Struts, Spring, core JAVA)
• INDUSTRY EXP: No, the emphasis should be more on B2B eCommerce.
• MUST HAVE:
• Essential to have a good understanding of IBM WebSphere Commerce (WC v7 or WC v8)/ HCL Commerce v9 functional and technical architecture including design and development best practice and the associate technologies
• Strong experience with the design, development, testing, and integration of B2B and B2C eCommerce web applications.
• Strong experience leading development efforts to customize core HCL Commerce systems such as Catalog, Data Load, Order, Search, Promotions, and Payments across all application layers based on client customer requirements.
• Previous experience of working in an Agile environment

Salary: $40.51 - $78.02 per hour
