ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a potential Web Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. This potential role will be critical in ensuring software support in support of the 711th Human Performance Wing, the Airman Systems Directorate (RH), the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM), and the Human Systems Integration Directorate (HP). SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Demonstrate skill and competence with Web development and database technologies. These include Adobe ColdFusion or similar platform, Oracle PL/SQL or similar, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Web developers who are new to HPWS will be required to complete a two-to-three-week training period to introduce them to the HPWS web application framework. This training period will include a short project where the contractor will be required to demonstrate their skills and technical ability.
  • Interact with government customers to understand technical requirements for computer programming projects.
  • Participate in the creation of technical documentation. This includes functional requirements documents, system design documents, relational database diagrams (ERDs), test plans, deployment plans, training material, and other project management artifacts.
  • Program new capabilities based upon information contained within design specifications provided by the government.
  • Produce training content for web application screens as well as providing in-person training if needed.
  • Will, at times, be required to manage data that may be categorized as Controlled Unclassified Information, sensitive, or Personally Identifiable Information, and as such, will be required to take government-furnished training on how to correctly handle these types of records.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled and ad hoc project meetings. This may be in person, over the telephone, or using AF-approved virtual meeting software (DAF365 Microsoft Teams).
  • Communicate project status weekly to primary stakeholders and project management personnel in person, via email, and through the use of government-proscribed tools and documentation.
  • Complete programming projects that comply with existing coding standards, design styles, and project management methodologies for all projects within the HPWS System.
  • Support 508 Accessibility standards (W3C WCAG 2.0) in the design, production and maintenance of all user interfaces.
  • Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Certification & Accreditation process on behalf of 711 HPW/ OMCI for the HPWS application.
  • Complete government-furnished training on operational security, information assurance, Privacy Act, and records management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Educational Requirements (one of the following): B.S. in Computer Science, or related, and 4 years relevant work experience; any Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years relevant work experience; or any post-secondary education and 8 years relevant work experience.
  • Senior-level programming experience developing data-driven web applications using Adobe ColdFusion or similar web application platform, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL or similar relational database, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery. Familiarity with the D3 data visualization JavaScript library is preferable.
  • Experience connecting server-side resources and services with client-side functionality using jQuery AJAX transactions.
  • Experience processing complex data sets within an Oracle, or similar, relational database. This includes reading, understanding, designing, writing, and modifying complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Experience designing, building, and modifying relational database objects, including tables, views, sequences, triggers, procedures, and functions.
  • Experience working throughout the entire software development lifecycle; from collecting and documenting requirements, to designing, building, testing, and deploying a complete web application.
  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and have the ability to pass a National Agency Check Investigation conducted by the US Federal Government.
  • Have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information.

Compensation / Salary Range: Greentree adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. The following salary range is what we reasonably expect to pay but is contingent and subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.

Bonuses: Greentree has an employee referral bonus, as well as employee bonuses based on employee contributions and Greentree’s yearly performance.
