Warehouse Material Handler
Job Objective(s):

Accurately processes orders in a timely fashion while remaining safe. All tasks are required to be completed efficiently and accurately delivering quality products to the customer in the right condition.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

· Adheres to safety and quality guidelines to accurately pick and pack orders using established work practices

· Be able to pick/pack/ship orders based on Dansons level of service standards

· Identify, correct, and clearly communicate all safety or fulfillment issues

· Interpret orders accurately

· Be flexible in daily work duties as assigned and assist in getting orders out in all areas of the warehouse

· Restocks picking locations with product brought from reserve storage

· Keep pick locations stocked and effectively communicate stock shortages

· Accurately sorts, counts, and receives in all merchandise

· Perform weekly cycle counts as directed

· Works in a clean and orderly manner at all times to keep warehouse organized and free of debris

· Stack product safely and securely

· Ensure that drivers complete appropriate paperwork

· Ensure shipping dock is clear at the end of each shift

Qualifications:

· Maintains positive and respectful attitude toward work and employees while working independently and in a team environment

· Must be flexible and adaptable to changing environment and situations as business needs dictate

· Must be flexible with hours based on business needs

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail at all times

· Must be punctual, with a good attendance record

· Able to read, write, spell, and perform basic math

· Follows instructions quickly, safely and accurately

· Demonstrates flexibility in daily task assignments and performs other general warehouse tasks, as assigned

· Demonstrates initiative to seek increased responsibilities

· Effectively communicates, understands oral instructions, reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals

· Basic math and computer skills including the ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift

• Fayetteville, NC 28306: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Material handler: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
