Job description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team! We are a janitorial and building maintenance supply company located in Yonkers, New York servicing the Tri-State area. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work and maximizing productivity of our warehouse. Candidates are responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. In addition, they are responsible for securing the warehouse as well as supervising staff.

Analyze shipment logs.

Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries.

Track inventory levels and Order new supplies in a timely manner

Constantly work to improve processes and make suggestions for productivity Improvement.

Optimize employee workflow.

Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.

Communicate and collaborate with other team members. Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers.

Track expenses related to fuel, storage, and truck maintenance.

Forklift and Pallet Jack Operation

Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data.

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Good time-management skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Operate 24ft Straight trucks (under CDL requirements)

Valid New York State driver's license and a clean/maintained driving record.

Flexible schedule

Must speak English.

Can lift weight up to 50lbs

Knowledge of NY City and Tri-State routes

Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.

Taking and completing a physical for DOT regulations.

Clean personal appearance/hygiene.

Arriving on time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
