Container International is a plastic injection manufacturer located in Crystal Lake, IL.

This role oversees and participates in warehouse operations. Adhering to procedures including shipping , receiving , orderly storage and optimum space utilization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assists the warehouse manager to ensure that all warehouse operations function properly.

Helps with training new team members

Receives , processes and issues warehouse stock

Ensures stock and warehouse facility is maintained in a safe , clean , and orderly condition

Receives, identifies , marks , and places materials sent to the warehouse according to procedures

Inventory methods and practices with an emphasis on accuracy

Maintains a variety of records , reports for trailers , safety , truck sheet logs.

Operates a variety of warehouse equipment including class 1,4 and 5 fork trucks , wave picker , and scissor lift

Operates a computer to process reports and forms

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Demonstrated ability to use problem solving skills.

Record keeping

Good interpersonal skills

Team player

Detailed oriented and able to keep up in a fast-paced setting

Good computer skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent

3 years of forklift experience

3 years of warehouse experience

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am-3pm (occasional overtime as needed)
