Vincennes University Jasper's Science and Mathematics Department is seeking applicants to fill the position of Assistant Professor in Mathematics. The full-time position is available beginning in the Fall 2023 semester.
This position is responsible for:
- Work under the direction of the Science and Mathematics Department Chair
- Prepare and teach undergraduate courses in mathematics, including college-level and/or corequisite remedial classes
- Develop syllabi for course and ensure course content meets accreditation requirements
- Provide timely and meaningful feedback to students on progress in course
- Take attendance at the beginning of each class
- Update student grades in the gradebook on a regular basis
The successful candidate has: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics; or Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics-related coursework.
