Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm of 1000+ legal and business professionals in sixteen markets, is currently seeking a full-time Video Editor to join our firm. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing photos and producing videos from raw footage for external and internal purposes. This position will play a vital role in the firm's success, as videos are the best way of communicating the firm's message on online platforms.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Assembling and editing recorded footage and converting into finished products that align with the Brand Manager’s vision.
  • Ensuring that the audio and visual elements in the final products are appropriate for broadcasting.
  • Capturing and producing high-quality photographs and videos.
  • Trimming footage segments and combining the sequences of the film.
  • Working with the Brand Manager to create an overall video brand messaging strategy.
  • Monitoring all technical aspects of recording and editing. Preparing rough and final cuts for videos.
  • Inputting effects, graphics, dialogues, sound effects and music into videos to make them more appealing to the audience.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders during the production and post-production process.
  • Assisting stakeholders with the editing and posting of podcasts.

Job Requirements:

  • BS/BSC in Filmmaking, Cinematography, or relevant field.
  • Three to five years of experience as a Video Editor, Video Specialist, or similar role in the Media Industry.
  • Experience in a professional services environment is strongly desired.
  • Outstanding experience with special effects, 3D, Adobe, Final Cut Pro X, and compositing.
  • Solid experience using video editing software like Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, etc.
  • Creative thinker and excellent time management skills.
  • Experience using platforms such as Socialive or Open Reel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to travel by car or plane to other FBT offices and off-site locations. Travel estimates are moderate (15-20%).
