Job description

WFPP has a unique feel. We are a team of professionals from a variety of medical and personal backgrounds working daily to extend excellence in all that we do. We work individually and collectively to make a positive impact through commitment to continuing education opportunities that are both scientific and communication/team building centered.

We have hosted private CE events including a cardiac wet lab with organ dissection, Behavior In Action interactive presentation, CPR and OSHA certification, and Clinical pathology wet lab to share a few. We also "played hard" with Simple Adventures team building company, went canoeing in Proud Lake and swam at the damn with Heavner Canoe in Milford, tracked down zombies through a haunted warehouse, and meet with Michigan State Universities social worker together each quarter. Team members feel this allows a comprehensive approach to overall health and longevity and encourages our roles to be rewarding while we develop lasting relationships in an inclusive environment.

As a privately-owned veterinary clinic, we provide tailored medical care to each patient and spend dedicated time educating our pet parents on preventative care importance. Our standards are maintained as a collaborative effort between our DVM leadership team, medical supervisor, and AAHA’s standards that we utilize in all areas of practice. We offer prevention plans, encourage medical insurance enrollment, and practice both preventative care and illness/injury. Primarily we care for canines, felines, and pocket pets and are open to seeing more exotics dependent on joining team member comfort.
