The TIMS VMI Coordinator is responsible for organizing, counting and replenishing inventory at the customer work site. This position will work closely with the TIMS West Coast Manager to ensure the inventory is maintained according to the customer’s expectations. In this role, you will utilize your private vehicle and drive approximately 500 miles per week making deliveries to customers. You will receive mileage reimbursement as established by the IRS for the business miles driven. Qualified applicants will have a reliable vehicle, driver license in good standing, and automobile insurance which meets at least the minimum coverage required by the state of California.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all duties at the customer site and consistent with the Contract.
  • Organize existing inventory at customer site.
  • Conduct cycle counts utilizing ClearSpider (CS) and upload counts into the system.
  • Replenish inventory in bins at customer site utilizing FIFO and making room for what is being delivered.
  • Put away delivered replenishment order.
  • Process Replan order.
  • Email Replan order to CSR for Epicor process.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Inventory management and supply chain experience.
  • Must have good math and organizational skills.
  • Must pay close attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervisions.
  • This position has frequent deadlines.
  • This position works closely with others and requires good communication and interpersonal skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS - the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position works indoors in a temperature-controlled environment but may experience seasonal variances as well as different conditions at customer sites. It requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and occasionally transporting up to 25 pounds or operating a pallet jack.
