The Opportunity
As a UX Designer you will work on new and existing applications and drive the process from initial user research to prototyping and implementation. You would work on 3D visualisations for different factories (e.g. automotive), a tool to visually monitor the construction progress of large buildings or an indoor navigation solution designed for the world’s biggest transportation hubs.
You love to work in an interdisciplinary team and you know how to apply your design research techniques in an innovation driven product development process. We offer you a team of awesome people, game-changing technology, a brilliant work environment and collaboration across development teams
How you will make an impact
- You will have the design ownership for one of our products and define UX concepts
- You will have the crucial responsibility of forming the iterative design process from user research to user flows and mockups
- You will be closely involved in conducting user research and helping your team understand our users needs
- You will actively support the development team in implementation through a scrum process
- You will play a key role in ensuring the design vision makes it into the final product and create a cohesive user experience
- You will challenge your fellow designers and strengthen the design culture at NavVis
- You will proactively communicate with stakeholders, articulate design decisions and shape a collaborative design process
What will help you succeed in the role
- An academical background in design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product), (Media) Informatics, Human-computer interaction or equivalent practical experience
- 2-3 years of relevant practical experience in UX Design or related fields
- Background in User Research is a big plus
- A strong understanding of usability and user-centred design practices
- Passion for emerging technologies and desire to innovate
- Sense of clean visual design
- Great teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a B2B environment would be an added benefit
