**$2,250 SIGN ON BONUS**
How You Will Make an Impact
As a Truck Technician at Reading Truck you work under the direction of the Supervisor / Manager to complete the installation of specialty truck equipment such as dump bodies, crane bodies, bumper cranes, etc.
The Nuts and Bolts
· Install Electronics / troubleshooting
· Install PTO Pumps / troubleshooting
· Hydraulic Hose assembly / Troubleshooting
· Mount hitches, shelves, drawers
· Install ladder racks, mud flaps
· Install back-up cameras
· Train mechanics as needed
· May be required to handle, move, or perform administrative tasks involving Hazardous material
· Team Members must supply their own tools
· Other duties as needed
Required Credentials
- 2+ years MIG solid wire welding experience/some MIG aluminum experience is a plus. Spool gun in a professional environment.
- 1+ year aluminum TIG welding experience in shop environment.
- 1-year experience with hydraulics (electric over hydraulic and/or pto pump systems)
- 1-year experience in automotive electrical and lighting systems
- 2-3 years’ experience in fabrication (example: building landscape bodies, building trailers, fabricating dump bodies, custom ladder racks or similar).
- Crane knowledge a plus but not necessary
- Lift gate knowledge (assorted types)
- Must have own tools.
