Boat Delivery Driver

Location: Salt Lake City, UT and beyond, including Deer Creek and Jordanelle Reservoirs

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Boat Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Boat Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting boats to various locations, primarily in the greater Salt Lake City area, including Deer Creek and Jordanelle Reservoirs. Your primary duty will be to ensure the safe and timely delivery of boats to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently transport boats to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the boat is in good working condition and report any issues to the appropriate department.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including pickup and drop-off times, mileage, and any additional information required.
• Provide exceptional customer service, delivering boats with care and professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the delivery process.
• Collaborate with the scheduling team to optimize delivery routes and ensure on-time deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum Age 25
• Previous experience in boat transportation or a similar field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local roads, routes, and regulations in the Salt Lake City area.
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver a 2500 pick-up truck with a boat trailer.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery schedules.
• Physical ability to load, secure, and unload boats with the assistance of appropriate equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.56 - $22.35 per hour
