The Markosky Engineering Group is compiling resumes for Transportation Construction Inspector for assignments with our client PA Turnpike Commission for their upcoming projects.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Inspection of roadway and bridge construction
• Testing of soils, concrete and bituminous paving
• Calculating quantities for estimate payments
• Completing Project Site Activity reports

Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology preferred.

Valid Driver's License is Required

Experience: Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, or related construction inspection experience preferred. Experience with structures, roadway, drainage and traffic control referred.

License/Certification:

• NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation (Preferred)
• PennDOT Certified Concrete Field Technician (Preferred)
• NECEPT-Bituminous and ACI/PennDOT Concrete (Preferred)
• CDS V3 and/or ECMS Wave 5 (Preferred)
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade 1 (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)
