COMPANY

Barrett Trucking LLC was established in 2019 with its flagship location headquartered in Temple Hills, MD. In 2022, Barrett Trucking has expanded its business operations to Los Angeles, CA with power stationed on both coasts. Our primary focus is dry van, flatbed, frac sand and automobile transport. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.

REQUIREMENTS

• 21+ years of age.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a good driving record.
• Must be able to operate a manual 10 speed
• Successful completion of DOT screening process, including physical, pre-hire test and drug test.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Hands on experience with digital equipment (smart phone, ELD, GPS) and carrier apps.

This job requires the ability to:

• Auto hauling experience a plus, but we can train new grads if necessary.
• Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer.
• Sit for extended periods of time.
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather).
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel.
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting non-hazardous materials.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents or violations.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,800.00 per week
