Telecom Installer Level 1

Position Summary:
Are you ready for a new opportunity? Alamon Inc. is looking for Entry Level Telecom installers. This is a full-time position, and the Entry Level Telecom Installer must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the state. The Ideal candidate should be a self-starter that is hard working and willing to learn the trade. We will train you to Mount bays/ shelves. Build Ironwork/ install cable rack, run and sew cables. You will also learn how to wire wrap and run and terminate fibers. The package consists of an hourly wage starting at 17.00 per hour, mileage allowance, and per diem when applicable.
Essential Job Functions:
- Be a self-starter who will provide high quality workmanship
- Excellent customer service skills
- Adhere to workplace safety requirements and insure a safe work environment
- Maintain the highest quality assurance standards.
- Knowledge basic of hand tools
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Must have current driver’s license and insurance
- Must have knowledge of basic computer skills
- Ability to work effectively with supervisors, technicians, and customers
- Ability to communicate effectively, including proficiency in written and verbal communications, with strong listening skills
- Excellent time management skills and multitasking abilities
- Must pass a comprehensive background and drug screening
Work Environment:
Work environment is partially an environmentally controlled indoor environment. The Employee may be subjected to noise levels which may range from low volume to loud and will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices from time to time.
