Archbishop Borders School, a dual language, diverse, and faith filled school in southeast Baltimore, seeks an English immersion teacher for Kindergarten and Grade 1. The teacher will be responsible for integrating the mission of Archbishop Borders School in all planning, teaching, grading, and in all school duties for the betterment of our students.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Course of Study.
• Provides grade appropriate instruction for Math, ELA, and Social Studies to students in grades Kindergarten and First Grade
• Maintains an attractive, organized, and engaging learning environment.
• Provides regular and consistent communication with parents, students, staff and administration as outlined by the Archbishop Borders School Handbook and Faculty/Staff Handbook.
• Connects with dual language Spanish immersion teaching partner for planning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education or other related field.
• Current MSDE certification or willingness to obtain
• Must be comfortable with technology such as laptops, Chromebooks, website maintenance, interactive white boards, etc.
• Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals and objectives
