Tax Accountant
Starting Salary: $90,000-110,000.00 DOE
Location: Roseville, CA
This is a full service accounting firm specializing in providing business and technical expertise to clients across industries. In this position you will work closely with partners, staff and clients, while being responsible for planning, supervising, reviewing and completing client engagements. This position offers opportunity for leadership and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
As an experienced member of the Tax Team, you will work closely with partners, staff and clients, while being responsible for planning, supervising, reviewing and completing client engagements. This position offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career advancement. Provide an array of tax/accounting services to a variety of local small to mid size companies.
Job Functions:
Prepare and/or review complex tax returns for corporate, partnership, or individuals, including federal, state and local tax returns, estimated payments and extensions with an emphasis on review.- Participate in client engagements by providing corporate, partnership, and individual tax services
- Participate in full client cycle from intake, preparation, review, and deliverables
- Devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues and opportunities
- Field and answer client questions regarding complex tax returns, tax positions and related issues
- Seek and provide solutions for client’s problem areas specifically related to tax issues
- Assist Tax Managers & Directors with all duties
- Responsible for developing tax strategies and providing support to existing and developmental tax strategies
- Reviews/evaluates staff work and offers clear feedback, constructive criticism and encouragement
- Proactively participate in client engagements for the best client experience, while providing clear client communication on all necessary matters
- Assist with all other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years in respective field
Education Required:
CPA License
Master's Degree in Taxation (Preferred)
