Your new field of activity:
As a System Application Engineer (m/f/d), you will combine subcomponents to form an electric drive system, derived from system architectures according to automotive standards and norms. This includes in particular:
- Commissioning of electric traction drives for passenger cars and development of suitable procedures and strategies.
- Ensuring the commissioning of our systems at our customers and external partners on site or in the vehicle
- Parameterization of electric traction drives for passenger cars and co-design of suitable procedures and strategies
- Test case automation for system functionalities as well as maintenance of automation in various sample phases
- Documentation, illustration, explanation and presentation of development procedures and results
- Participation in vehicle tests together with our customers
- Troubleshooting on test benches and in the vehicle and communicating remedial actions with the project team
What you ideally bring with you
- You have a degree in the field of electrical engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronics
- You have several years of experience in the application of control units in the automotive industry as well as with development and test methods of electric drive systems according to automotive standards and norms
- You have a strong understanding of systems in the area of electric drive systems, bus communication, diagnostic and safety functions
- You are confident in using automotive development and application tools such as Vector CANape and CANoe, ETAS INCA, DiagRA, CRETA, Matlab/Simulink
- You have knowledge of systems engineering (ISO/IEC 15288), functional safety (ISO 26262) and process-compliant development (Automotive SPICE)
