Job description
Signal Peak is currently soliciting interest for the position of Surveyor. This position reports to the Chief Surveyor, and consists of the following responsibilities:
· Examine and maintain safe work area.
· Ensure all maps are kept up to date and are accurate.
· Maintain open communication with operations personnel and engineering staff.
· Plan and oversee underground mine construction.
· Perform instrument surveys underground.
· Operate GPS and EDM survey instruments.
· Troubleshoot survey equipment.
· Operate and download data recorder collector.
· Maintain survey notes.
· Operate AutoCAD for processing and updating surveys.
Position Requirements:
- Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or GED
- Valid Montana Drivers License
- 3 years surveying experience Preferred
- Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge
- Cad experience
