Primary Job Duties:

• Establish and maintain a supportive relationship with participants
• Assists participants in meeting their ISP/IPP goals and objectives through best practice instructional techniques
• Follow appropriate training or support services schedule as agreed upon with the individual participant and Program Director
• Accompany participants to appointments, as appropriate and requested
• Participates in participant assessments, Annual, Semi-annual and Regional Center Interdisciplinary meetings (ID Team) as needed
• Ensures participants rights are respected and enforced; monitors participant grievances and refers them to the Program Director
• Assists the ILS /SLS staff in developing training curriculum
• Represents Individual Choices at community meetings as assigned
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

ILS Educators/ SLS caregiver shall possess the following minimum qualifications:

• At least six months experience providing direct service and support to people with intellectual disabilities, or experience working in a human service setting or whiling to learn.
• High School Diploma or GED

Salary: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
