The CCIU is currently offering a retention bonus of $600 for any Special Education Teacher that works all of the scheduled ESY 2023 program dates with no absences, which they will receive at the end of the ESY program.

Effective for the 2023 summer program, vacancies for several Special Education Teacher positions exist within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit throughout the County. These positions are for school age programs.

Location: Countywide.

Schedule: (may vary slightly depending on program)

• 8:00 am - 2:30 pm (6.5 hours a day)
• Monday - Thursday

Qualifications:

• Applicants must hold a valid PDE certification in Special Education.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI fingerprint clearances required.
• Must be able to work entire ESY session.
• Experience working with Special Education Students preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Applicant will be expected to develop and implement an individual instructional program for students.

Salary: (based on years of experience)

0-13 years experience= $32.00 per hour
14-28 years experience= $37.00 per hour
29+ years experience= $42.00 per hour
