Job Summary/Basic Function
The Mathematics Department is seeking a student to provide a variety of tasks to assist the office.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Customer service skills
- Computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
- Willingness to perform varied duties.
- Ability to multitask and work with multiple projects at one time
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an office setting
Job Duties
Task may included but are not limited to:
- Answer phones and take messages
- Data entry and manage database for Math Assistance Center (MAC)
- Provide customer service to students
- Marketing assignments – bulletin boards, handouts, D2L site updates
- Assist with event planning
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Be able to sit/stand and use a computer for the length of shift
