As Sr. Strategic Greenfield Customer Advisor, you are the first touchpoint for our largest and most complex customers in the sales cycle and understand their process organization, pain points and requirements to establish an optimized business account setup. You gain commitment and scope digital procurement programs with our customers.

Position Summary
Sr. Strategic Greenfield Customer Advisors are accountable for prospecting, shaping, and winning engagements with the largest customers in Europe. They identify and convince customers and advise them how to embrace Amazon Business as marketplace for indirect spend. They leverage a proven playbook, working with other Amazon B2B teams, and build a holistic industry approach by liaison with the full internal and external ecosystem in order to drive customer success. The ideal candidate will have experience developing relationships across functional areas such as procurement, source-to-pay, production, maintenance, supply chain and IT in large, complex businesses and has proven track record of exceeding goals. Sr. Greenfield Customer Advisors do not perform transactional selling – they advise our customers to embrace Amazon Business as next generation of corporate procurement solution.



Key job responsibilities
  • Be the first touchpoint for our strategic customers in the sales cycle and understand their process organization, pain points and requirements to establish an optimized business account setup.
  • Identify target accounts based on data analysis and initiate high potential customer meetings with client decision makers.
  • Discover advanced business development opportunities and constantly win new customers for Amazon Business.
  • Be a business consultant to different Amazon Business customer profiles and sectors, providing procurement insights and advice based on customer needs.
  • Interacts up to VP/SVP Level with customers (e.g. CPO, Head of Indirect Procurement). Ability to articulate, discuss, and contribute to customer’s procurement strategy and key focus points
  • Expert in Procurement Business Processes (“Purchase-to-Pay”). Expert in Amazon’s positioning, and differentiating factors; solid knowledge on ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MSFT), e-Procurement Systems, and other market solutions
