Job description
The Sr. Program Manager - Business Transformation will bring a high degree of energy and have the passion to partner with business owners and key stakeholders to create and deliver value for SHI.
This position reports to the Sr. Director of Business Transformation and is based out of the SHI office location in Somerset, NJ or our Bethlehem PA office. This is a hybrid role, required to be in the office three days per week and remote the other two.

Include, but are not limited to:
- Lead cross-functional working sessions to develop current state workflows and identify scenarios impacting adverse business outcomes
- Gain deeper understanding of the business, department processes, organizational structure, and technological landscape through interviews, transaction walk-throughs, and focus groups
- Partner with business owners and key stakeholders to evaluate solutions for improvement, understand process, technology, and organizational implications associated with each choice, and present recommendations that solve for business objectives
- Leverage best practices from across industries, business areas, and applications to help guide business owners to the optimal solution
- Assess both qualitative and quantitative benefits, program costs, and return for program investments
- Validate all business case assumptions with business owners and executive sponsors
- Lead the implementation of each project or program
- Assess progress against milestones, deadlines, capacity plans, objectives, and key performance indicators
- Ensure standard program management tools and methodologies are followed
- Build capabilities such as project plans, roadmaps, communications strategies, and governance frameworks
- Create status updates for the project or program team, business owners, and key stakeholders to keep them informed of project or program status, issues, risks, and program needs; distribute a summary of decisions, accomplishments and next steps
- Manage project or program budgets and financials, ensure resources are available to meet stakeholder needs for program activities, and hold team members accountable for individual team spend
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in leading and implementing complex business and/or technology initiatives for large organizations
- Proven expertise in management consulting, process improvement, change management, and project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
- Previous experience using project management software and other standard project management scheduling tools, such as Microsoft Project or Visio
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams consisting of employees, consultants, and contractors
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to create concise proposals and presentation needed to communicate status, accomplishments, risks, and project or programs needs to the core team, Steering Committees, and leadership
- Highly organized with superior attention to detail
- Commitment to high-quality deliverables and business outcomes
- Excellent problem solving, time management, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
- Ability to influence employee outcomes at all levels of the organization
- Strategic planning abilities in line with business segment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Master’s Degree or MBA
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $145,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
