The Sr. Product Manager is part of our multi-national product management team responsible for developing a comprehensive mobile app and web experience to deliver value to grocery shoppers. In this role, you will develop detailed business plans and product requirements to support new feature development and bring those new features to market through coordination with other Shopmium product managers, product designer, sales, engineering, marketing and operational support teams.
As Sr. Product Manager on the Shopmium team, you will be responsible for driving improved conversion on Shopmium’s promotional products and increased retention among existing users by improving offer relevance at the user level. You’ll work on exciting initiatives related to core user experiences and personalization, among others. You will work closely with the product director and business intelligence to identify key inputs to define consumer preferences and translate those inputs into personalized experiences throughout Shopmium’s assets.
What You'll Do:
- Identify key areas of the Shopmium experience and business that would benefit from increased personalization and identify required inputs to deliver
- Work jointly with business intelligence to effectively capture, implement, and increasingly monetize user inputs, preferences and behavior to drive relevance within Shopmium and throughout Quotient network products
- Become well-versed in privacy and data security laws and regulations throughout the U.S., existing Shopmium European markets (France, UK, Belgium), and other areas being considered for further Shopmium expansion
- Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and analyze existing user data to build compelling business cases to support new feature proposals
- Develop sound product requirements for new features factoring in the needs of key stakeholders wherever appropriate
- Develop testing strategies to measure the impact of new features and help determine go/no-go decisions
- Develop documentation and training where appropriate to educate support teams and key stakeholders on new features and capabilities
What You'll Bring:
- 6+ years of product management experience. Mobile app experience is strongly preferred
- Experience in loyalty, retention (CRM) and/or personalization, ideally in B2B2C contexts
- Practice with design thinking, lean methodologies, agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills, with an ability to translate insights into action
- High level of accountability and motivation — a “self-starter”
- Strong interpersonal skills, time and project management, presentation, leadership, and communication skills
- Understanding of how to manage internal priorities based on business needs
- Receptive to feedback and articulate when delivering feedback
- Adaptability and quick thinking for times when projects change, timelines shift, or scopes vary
- Fluency to work with teams in different time zones (East & West US, Europe, India), if possible from US East coast time zone
In Colorado, California, Washington, and New York City, the annual base salary range for this role is $125-135k. The hired applicant will be eligible for an annual bonus and will receive an equity grant in the form of either a direct grant of stock that will be specified in the employment agreement or an option to purchase stock in the future for a specified price.
