Job Summary:

Position title ranges from Graphic Designer to Senior Graphic Designer based on experience.

Designs advertising concepts and produces final artwork using graphic design software. Communicates with merchandisers to understand and clearly communicate sales events, product attributes and department services. Orders artwork and photography. Assists in project coordination. Responsible for releasing artwork to printers and reviewing related proofs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for project coordination in conjunction with other graphic designers and merchandising information coordinators. Responsible for designing advertising concepts for all assigned print projects using MAC computer and Adobe design software. Accountable for proofreading, correcting and releasing ads to printers in conjunction with merchandising information coordinators. Work closely with merchandising teammates in the development of ads to include all corrections and adjustments to advertising projects. Responsible for ordering illustrations and photography from inhouse and freelance artists. Coordinate the typesetting, artwork, color separations and printing of ads. Order stock photos, art from the digital photo studio, and outside resources. Responsible to maintain a high level of computer software skills and an understanding of the network that is used in the advertising department. May direct the work of less senior graphic designers. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

Satisfactory performance reviews. Strong communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Driven and self-motivated.

Education and Experience:

Associates degree in graphic design. 1-5 years of related experience. Design software experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.93 - $35.34 per hour
