Job Summary:

As a Sr. Analyst, Warehouse Management System, you will work collaboratively with business stakeholders on warehouse management (WM) configuration. You will ensure system integrity meets current business needs in all departments across the Distribution & Transportation Network in North America and Canada. You will recommend technical improvements, assist in some aspects of project management, and will act as liaison with other departments for WM superuser training and system support functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of experience working in implementing / supporting Manhattan WM, SCI, SAP ECC, SAP BI, or similar system and experience working in a supervisor / lead role
  • Within commutable distance to Oak Brook and Addison, IL

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analysis into executable results
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict within a cross-functional teams environment
  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain from a distribution center (DC) and / or transportation process flow
  • Strong ability to understand and manage database / table / configuration relationships and dependencies

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

  • APICS, CSCMP, CLTD certification
  • Experience with LM and material handling equipment technologies
  • Hands-on distribution experience as a supervisor or manager
  • Knowledge of and experience with RDBMS reporting, SQL, VBA or similar, SAP

Additional Job Details:

  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, understand business processes, and analyze supporting data, using best practice tools, combined with identifying and implementing actions to improve all Operations and Warehouse performance. Provide input regarding risks and identify mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate configuration changes for applications related to warehouse systems.
  • Advise, handle, and monitor activities dealing with warehouse systems.
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers / project team. Participate in the creation of process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to support the team.
  • Participate in configuration and enhancement efforts for WM, including but not limited to: Receiving, Inventory Management, Task Management, Allocation Management, and Wave Management. Monitor and analyze configuration changes once completed.
  • Provide internal systems support for WM related issues.
  • Collaborate with all areas and operation managers on a daily basis.
  • Liaison with key users at other Chamberlain Group sites to ensure consistent configuration and application across the network, as well as liaison with cross-functional and external parties related to warehouse systems projects.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to system users and other systems analysts.
  • This role is within Chamberlain Group’s Center of Excellence Supply Chain Systems group.
  • Travel 10-15%, domestic and international
