Speaking of Speech and Language Therapy is a therapist-owned private practice and is in need of therapists to provide in-home speech therapy services.

FLEXIBILITY is key with this position. You can work part-time or full time depending on your family's needs. Positions available in Surprise, Litchfield Park, Avondale, Glendale, Goodyear, and Buckeye. You choose the area(s) where you want to work and create your own schedule! SLPA rates average $35/hr commensurate with experience but can increase based on performance.

The ideal candidate will have 6 months of current experience in a the field of speech-language pathology. State licensure is required. Recent grads who have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities are welcome to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel to homes or daycares of patients to conduct therapy. You choose the geographic area.
• Maintain SOAP notes after each visit. Notes are completed on an EHR system which takes 2-3 minutes.
• Attend all meetings
• Maintain communication with supervisor and families of clients
• Provide treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders using evidence based practice.
• Implement speech and language programs or activities as planned and directed by speech-language pathologists.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent (post grad coursework) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid AZ SLPA License
• Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR Training
• 6 months of experience
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Passionate about working with children with disabilities
• Highly motivated
