- set our data free, make it useable by everyone in the organization and support collaboration
- perform data modeling on terabytes of data and build-up an holistic understanding of digital advertising and build data products on top of it, such as automated pricing algorithms or prediction and alerting systems plan, build, test and deploy new services
- dive with us in the world of statistical models and algorithms
- continuously enhance our data platform with new sources and analytical capabilities (managed Spark environment)
- you like to work in an easy-going, open-minded team where you will have lots of freedom but at the same time have a huge impact on our revenue
- you work in an interdisciplinary team of software engineers, data scientists and product people and will profit from the knowledge of your colleagues
- you have proven experience in developing and deploying software in a production environment
- you have proven experience in the context of digital advertising and have a good understanding how programmatic advertising works
- you are fascinated by large amounts of data and have proven hands-on skills with Spark and implementation experience with AWS services
- you have a sound statistical foundation and are eager to solve complex problems in collaboration with Data Scientists
- you have build clean and stable data pipelines in the past
- you have years of proven coding experience and actively apply practices like DRY, S.O.L.I.D and clean code
- you are comfortable in 1+ programming languages - Python ideally being one of them
- you are experienced in building APIs and REST services, as well as setting-up data pipelines with Airflow or similar services
- you speak fluent English. German would be a plus working in agile teams and projects is second nature to you
