Job description
Software Engineer (Little Ferry, NJ) - Analysis, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment and support of software applications. Collaborate with stakeholders and technical business analysts to review the business requirements and prepare detailed technical design documents. Provide technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance about practices, procedures and techniques. Perform full SDLC in design and development of complex, high performance, high volume, scalable and responsive N-tier architecture web applications using various client and server side technologies and tools like .NET Framework, Web API, C#, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, React, Redux, SQL Server, AWS Aurora (MySQL), AWS DynamoDB, AWS Services, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, MS Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management Studio, Git, SourceTree, SonarQube, Kibana, IIS, TeamCity, Octopus. Design and develop complex software solutions leveraging architecture patterns and by adhering to SOLID principles. Responsible for designing and developing API/Web-Services (micro-services-based architecture) by adhering to REST principles. Follow Software Engineering best practices and processes, including version control, automation test, unit test, architectural and design review, code review, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and performance and security testing. Work closely with QA team to ensure high quality product delivery; ensure our business standards and procedures are maintained in accordance with Company policies and work practices are in line with all audit, security and regulatory requirements. Participate in project planning sessions with project manager and engineers to analyze requirements and outline proposed solutions. Communicate effectively and concisely with both fellow engineers and non-technical peers; must be capable of working in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Provide input and guidance on development and architecture decisions; analyze system specifications and create project estimates. Work in Agile (Scrum) environment to deliver solutions with high level of flexibility and adaptability.
