Social Media Marketing Coordinator

Small boutique marketing firm is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic social media freelancer to join our creative team. You will be responsible for creating social media campaigns and the day-to-day management of our client’s social media accounts to enhance our clients’ online visibility and brand recognition. The ideal candidate is motivated and highly organized with a passion for organic social media.

  • Creating consistent, creative, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including researching, writing, and editing social media posts, REELS, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
  • Community Engagement. Drive growth with our online community to generate increased follows with our client accounts. Identifying and interacting with relevant accounts and trending conversations, sharing and posting high quality content.
  • Manage an editorial calendar of scheduling posts, publishing on channels and influencer/user-generated content.
  • Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
  • Suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
  • Meet our digital marketing weekly plans on social media postings.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
  • 2 or more years of social media experience on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Youtube.
  • Advanced experience with creating REELS and stories.
  • Experience with Sprout Social or similar social media management solutions/planning tools
  • Experience using various analytics software.
  • Experience with Google Drive
  • Familiarity with graphic design software and advanced photo editing applications.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent English language, grammar, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to proof content for errors, suggest edits, and write copy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented. Ability to ensure standard of quality is met across every task.
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally upholding tone and brand guidelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience or interest in interior design is a plus!

Location:

This is a remote position. Applicants in the Bay Area, California highly desired but not required

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
