Assistant Social Media and Web Marketing

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic more than just assistant social media specialist and marketing person to join our creative team. You will be responsible for assisting in creating social media campaigns, assisting in managing all social media. Also assisting in management of online sales channels, such as eBay, Amazon, Facebook stores and Marketplace. Assisting in E-commerce management of various websites. Also developing new channels for brand marketing and development. Your passion for social media, marketing, technology, and business in general will be the driving factor in helping to create better brand awareness and performance of all digital assets of Flagpoles Etc and its catalog of companies. A degree is not required, looking for a person wanting to learn and grow. Full and part-time position.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative marketing person with a great knowledge of current marketing trends. Fluent and have a working knowledge of Facebook, Google, Bing, and other platforms. A team player! That can also work alone. You will be an active participant in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

Assistant Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
  • Assisting in building and maintaining sales channels such as Facebook stores, Marketplace, Amazon, eBay, and others.
  • Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including, writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
  • Assisting in managing daily social media content.
  • Working with the marketing and management team to develop strategies.
  • Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Developing and managing social influencer programs.
  • Assisting in the creative aspects of preparing content, such as photo and video creation. Working with marketing to develop print and digital assets.
  • Assist in developing brand awareness on all platforms including digital and print.
  • Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
  • Preparing monthly reports on social media and other marketing efforts.
  • Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media and other marketing channel trends.
  • Assisting in E-commerce site maintenance and development
  • Performing other duties when needed.

Assistant Social Media and Web Specialist Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • Good Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, etc. a Must!
  • Experience using various analytics software.
  • Working knowledge of creative software such as CorelDraw, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Helpful.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with photography, videography helpful.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS and various development skills helpful but not required.
  • Knowledge of SEO helpful, Google and Bing ad words helpful.
  • Knowledge of E-commerce helpful.
  • Ability to communicate and work with others.
  • Web Development knowledge helpful
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Degree not required for entry level position

Compensation:

Starting wage of $16 to $19 per hour

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
