RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES

• Design and Estimate Commercial Security, CCTV, Card Access and Fire systems.
• Provide quality efficient solutions that will result in a high level of customer satisfaction & loyalty.
• Establish project goals, objectives, budget; schedule. Determine design services needed and present design services for approval.
• Develop block plans. Prepare product lists, installation drawings, proposals; contracts. Finalize specs and obtain approved drawings.
• Supports the commercial sales and installation staff.
• Update all changes to estimates and pricing. Coordinate pricing with warehouse/purchasing and confirm inventory to utilize on upcoming projects and designs. Participate in pre-installation meetings and in final walk thru at the job site
• Special projects requested by management. Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• 3+ years of experience in design, closely related technical services or products industry

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Strong understanding of interior commercial/residential construction, architecture, and design
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Bring innovative ideas and; designs forward
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers
• Satisfy the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers
• Contribute to a joint action resulting in a desired outcome
• Skilled at translating concepts into complete and accurate drawings & specifications in realistic time periods.
• Prioritize deliverables and maintain focus on multiple projects at one time
• Proficient in using technological tools including AutoCAD, rendering software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other systems designed for Commercial/Residential industry and support software

EDUCATION

• Minimum High School or GED

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Nicet certification
• Valid Drivers License
