Purpose
Perform architecture responsibilities for Engineering System ecosystem globally.
Primary Duties
  • Convert business requirements into Teamcenter-specific functional and technical requirements
  • Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint
  • Meet with business leaders/sponsors to provide technical guidance and transpose business needs into functional, technical and system requirements
  • Work with other architects in IT to design end-to-end business systems to meet TDW strategic needs
  • Mentor and assist junior IT staff in Teamcenter administration and development tasks
  • Build and maintain multiple Teamcenter environments to support TDW SDLC practices
  • Provide 2nd-level technical support to TDW internal users
Education and Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with a Teamcenter 12+ 4-tier distributed environment in the areas of:
    • Defining, implementing, and troubleshooting data models, security models, and workflows
    • Installation via TEM and/or Deployment Center
    • Teamcenter patching and upgrading
    • ITK customization
    • Classification
    • Active Workspace and RAC configuration and customization
    • Experience with any or all of the following is helpful
    • Dispatcher customization
    • T4EA (Active Integration)
    • Shop Floor Connect (DNC)
    • CAD integrations for SolidWorks, Pro/E, I-DEAS, and NX
    • Azure deployment of Teamcenter
    • Azure DevOps and Agile development practices. CI/CD experience
    • Java, C++
    • ECAD tool (Altium) integration Background working in an industrial machine manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Demonstrated experience can be exchanged for the degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel individually and within teams.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
