One of our clients in the Grandview, Missouri area is looking to add a Shipping Clerk to their Shipping department in a temp-to-hire fashion.

Pay:

• $18/hour for an entry level associate
• $19-$20/hour for someone who has a few years of small parcel shipping experience.

Shift:

• Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm
• Overtime will happen, and that will include working M-F 6am-6pm & weekends, you must be available for ALL overtime, as it is mandatory.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of solid distribution experience
• HSD/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• The ability to lift, bend, stoop, push and/or pull up to 50lbs
• The ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift
• Team player mentality
• Great attendance
• A want to learn and grow, in knowledge & skill set.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry
• Internal emailing
• Packaging
• Labeling
• Palletizing
• Sorting
• Eventually learning to operate a forklift
• May have the opportunity to learn & earn a class E CDL and act as a back up for the current local delivery driver.
