SERVICE MANAGER

Prior experience with the Installation and Service of Water Softeners is preferred.

Rayne of San Jose is looking for our next Service Manager. We are a growing company with a great family culture and the #1 rated installer and servicer of soft-water and drinking water systems in homes and businesses in San Jose. This position works directly with the OPS Manager to successfully complete daily service and route department tasks and focus on growing the business

The Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and support of the Service and Delivery departments, needs to be cognizant of all aspects of the facility and provide hands-on assistance where necessary.

GREAT Benefits include $1,000 Bonus after 6 months of employment.

Starting at $57,200 annually, plus bonus at 6 months. MUST BE ABLE TO SOLDER COPPER PIPE and do PVC up to 2". Installing Water Softeners is a big plus. We provide a Service Truck, all tools and uniforms and training as needed for success.

Water treatment industry experience is preferred.

Key job responsibilities:

• Be the conduit of communication between internal departments (Purchasing, Parts Inventories, Product Installation, and Sales)
• Manage and motivate teams in Service and Delivery departments to achieve company goals
• Ensure workflow is on target and done well.
• Expertise in various installation options
• Manage inventories and ordering of parts and equipment
• Work with department leaders to ensure smooth and efficient customer service.
• Work with sales department on difficult jobs and provide installation options.
• Handle customer issues
• Ability to cost jobs and parts.

Requirements:

• Experience in leadership and management of multiple departments
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Plumbing and Plumbing Codes
• Experience installing and servicing water softening and drinking water units
• The ability to get people on the same page and moving in the same direction

The position is full-time (Mon-Fri approx.7:00 am - 4:30 pm)
