Role title: Senior Sales Manager Autmotive Tiers
Location: Germany, Düsseldorf
Role purpose:
The Senior Sales Manager either leads a team of sales managers who have respective teams (i.e. managing managers), or they manage a team with a total annual revenue or revenue potential above 140m€. In the latter case, they usually lead a team of 5 to 16 Global Account Manager (GAMs) and National Account Manager (NAMs).
In their role, the Senior Sales Manager ensures revenue and TCV targets are met through selling into account decision makers of all allocated accounts on worldwide scale.
Further measures of success are to ensure global account satisfaction (NPS) is met and increased, account strategies and plans are in place and executed against for both direct and channel partner sales, transformational opportunities are developed on a direct selling basis (b2b) and on an indirect selling basis (b2b2c and/or b2b2b).
With us you will:
Deliver against annual revenue and TCV targets while keeping operational expenses of team to budgeted levels- Personally involves to win and retain large and/or complex accounts as well as to develop and maintain strategic relationships
- Engages in creating new revenue streams from new products, via partnerships and by selling through accounts (b2b2c/b2b2b)
- Guarantees team compliance with sales methods and tools (particularly SFDC) to ensure alignment with other functions
- Continuously coaches all team members and ensures that appropriate additional training is provided, completed and applied in daily business operations
Apply if you have:
5 yrs+ experience in sales management and proven track record with strategic accounts- Ability to think strategically and drive transformational sales programmes
- Intercultural awareness and experience
- Able to deal with a rapidly changing environment and able to lead change where necessary
- Capable of working for projects in a matrix-organisation
- Managing C-Level within customer and Vodafone (for major accounts with revenues or revenue potential above 140m€ p.a.)
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
University degree, preferably a Master or equivalent in business management- Excellent communication skills in
- German and English (negotiation level)
