Senior Risk Management Analyst, Full-Time, Marlboro or Chelmsford, Hybrid
Job description
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 (40 hours) - requires 5 days a month in our Massachusetts office
Summary/Objective:
Lead risk management program development to drive an improvement ERM framework. Leads and recommends projects geared toward improved risk management processes and systems. Provides guidance and support for junior risk analysts. Maintains an ongoing in-depth knowledge of risk management best practices and regulatory requirements concerning Credit Union ensuring DCU is fulfilling those requirements both in practice and through written policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:

- Provided guidance to Risk Analysts
- Lead projects and risk program development
- Continual development of IRM/GRC tool, processes and reporting
- Maintains, develops and improves risk management reporting
- Participate in Risk assessments across all departments
- Support development of risk and control inventory
- Document and maintain risk management inventories and processes, e.g. risks, vendors, controls, metrics, etc.
- Track and gather DCU/departmental metrics
- Remain up to date on significant industry events
- Provide content for management reporting as needed
- Maintain working relationship with department Managers
- Participates in various projects as assigned by Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Three to five years-experience in financial industry preferred
- Three to five years-experience in risk management or audit preferred

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent writing skills
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
Supervisory Responsibility:
Provide guidance and direction to Risk Analysts in the process of ensuring all risk assessments are completed and properly documented annually. Perform risk assessments and train new analysts in the use of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) tool. Work towards improving risk management processes.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier/scanner, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
