The Human Resource Analytics team at Citizens Bank leads the organization’s understanding of workforce insights and organizational health. Our team uncovers holistic data-driven business opportunities across the talent lifecycle to enable transformational change and operational efficiency. We evaluate internal workforce data and competitive intelligence to understand diverse employee voices and swiftly experiment to implement scalable, evidence-based decisions on talent and culture to create a stronger workplace experience.
The ideal candidate is relentless problem-solver, innovator and change agent who can translate complex sets of information into actionable talent and culture intelligence. The candidate is responsible for end-to-end partnership and communication with business clients on workplace insights: diagnosis, integration and transformation, analysis, visualization, and presentation. They will work with minimal direction to guide business leaders with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, the employee experience, and organizational agility. The candidate possesses strong quantitative skills, is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and can communicate effectively to a wide-ranging audience. In addition, the candidate is comfortable working with technology partners as the voice of business to collect business and functional requirements to enhance relevant programs. An “outside in” perspective, high intellectual curiosity, and a consultative posture are essential skills to possess in this role.
The Senior People Analytics Consultant at Citizens Bank will:
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the client-facing consultant to HR leaders on workforce and workplace data; synthesize business goals and strategy with HR, productivity, and market data to build integrated, tangible recommendations on talent and culture topics.
Rapidly perform exploratory data analysis, generate and test working hypotheses, and uncover trends and relationships to support workforce planning efforts.
Communicate results of analysis to HR leaders and other analysts; employ storytelling techniques to make recommendations to executives and other stakeholders by interpreting the “so what” and “now what” to drive impact; develop executive presentations for recurring and ad hoc workforce reporting.
Use knowledge of technology and analytical solutions to anticipate business needs across workforce and workplace dimensions.
Assist in development, execution, and evaluation of client OKRs, human capital KPIs and other measurement strategies to enable business results.
Partner and train clients and HR stakeholders on impactful use of data and data literacy techniques to drive business outcomes.
Assist in change management efforts to scale HR analytics solutions across the enterprise.
Provide guidance on business priorities and opportunities for replication of solutions and self-service to HRA partners.
Advise on enterprise-level and business unit level analytics work with analytics partners through the organization; contribute to enterprise data governance methods and priorities.
Qualifications

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills - approaches problems with rigorous logic and a curious mind – looks beyond the obvious and searches for deeper answers
Experience designing analytics solutions with HR technology to accelerate the employee experience
Ability to manage multiple client groups simultaneously; strong project management background
Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with analytics tools (e.g., R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight Visier, Alteryx) and employee listening platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Perceptyx, Glint)
Proficiency in change management approaches (e.g., PROSCI, etc.)
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences – tells stories with data that resonate with stakeholders and maximize impact; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong decision-making skills; excellent interpersonal, relationship building, and collaboration skills
Highly-organized with strong attention to detail and documentation; results orientation
Experience with design thinking and agile practices
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience with Oracle HCM, Service Now and Saba a plus
SQL preferred
Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and documenting progress towards those deadlines
Able to effectively gather project requirements from stakeholders
Possesses a learning orientation, active exploratory mind, and interest to learn from others
Education and Experience
7+ years of client-facing Business Intelligence, People Analytics, Workforce Strategy, or Human Capital Consulting experience working in/with complex organizations, or combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Math, HR, Social Sciences, or related field or equivalent experience; Master’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, I/O Psychology, or social science field a plus.
