THE OPPORTUNITY
Cloud Revolution is seeking a creative, curious, and passionate inventor who loves to come up with new ideas, solve novel problems, and then see those solutions through to completion. The right person for this role enjoys blank whiteboards and new challenges. Additionally, they naturally push projects and tasks to completion, enjoy encouraging and assisting others, and are eager to learn about interrelated voice technologies, sometimes while under pressure to make deadlines.
The primary job focus is to architect and implement Microsoft Teams Voice solutions for our clients. We also sell and implement Microsoft Teams certified contact centers and want to teach you how as well. This job is a great place to build upon existing SIP, SBC, and VOIP knowledge within a very senior team of Microsoft MVPs and certified architects while delighting our mid-size and enterprise customer base.
We all work from home across the country. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to stay motivated and engaged in a remote environment and be comfortable using video and voice calls, instant messaging, and email to stay connected. We try to get together in person at least once a year.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Complete Professional Services Projects for external clients within schedule, budget, and technical constraints.
- Design and document migration path to Teams Calling from legacy solutions such as Avaya, Cisco, and Nortel using industry best practices.
- Document and gain consensus from clients on proposed solutions.
- Implement and configure Microsoft Teams Voice solutions, including configuration of SBCs, analog gateways, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and associated solutions.
- Configure SBCs and voice gateways.
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule.
- Keep learning, growing, and listening.
- Travel to company events up to a couple times a year.
- Occasionally travel onsite to client engagements as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR ORGANIZATION
- 3-5+ years of experience in a professional services consulting role servicing external clients.
- Expert level experience with at least two of the following and willingness to become an expert in the rest with our guidance: SIP, SBCs, Direct Routing, Lync/Skype/Teams, VOIP and Telephony design, Microsoft Teams Rooms.
- Expert with at least one scripting language, PowerShell strongly preferred.
- Has passed the MS-700 exam or is willing to do so within the first 90 days of employment.
- Design and architectural documentation is required on every project. You must be able and willing to clearly document your solutions and present them to clients for feedback on a regular basis.
- Excellent business English skills, with ability to talk competently and professionally with vendors, end users, and technical SMEs.
- Self-Starter who loves to figure things out and can balance that desire with excellent judgement as to when to ask for help or admit a mistake.
- Basic understanding of contact center technologies, or willingness to learn.
- Enjoys working alongside world -class project managers.
- Desire and willingness to take certification coursework. Some may be required, others you may want to pursue with our support. Required certifications are eligible for bonuses.

WHAT OUR ORGANIZATION IS PROVIDING
- Expected annual salary range of $90,000 - $125,000.
