About this role:
iRhythm is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Talent Management who is passionate about designing, building, and implementing strategic talent management programs and initiatives to elevate our superior culture and global employee experience. Central to this will be the development of an integrated talent strategy that delivers core processes to drive long-term performance throughout iRhythm, including performance management, talent mobility and succession/talent planning.
As a member of the Learning & Development team at iRhythm, the Senior Manager of Talent Management provides global strategic direction, thought leadership, and supports the end-to-end execution of all talent processes and programs across the employee lifecycle. The person in this role will work collaboratively with other areas of HR and the business to directly manage the development needs of critical roles, while also coordinating, monitoring, and measuring the impact of talent and performance initiatives and programs globally. The person in this role will partner with other members of HR team to ensure continuity and consistency of Talent Management deliverables. The Sr. Manager of Talent Management has significant impact across the organization as their direction, strategy and actions are executed globally.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Develops the overall strategic direction and roadmap for integrated talent and performance management.
- Collaborate with HR partners and key stakeholders to facilitate the design, development and implementation of talent management programs.
- Leads, manages, mentors, coaches, and directs others and upholds standards for all global talent and performance management programs, processes, and initiatives.
- Run Talent Management projects with clients across iRhythm including: driving and conducting needs analysis, creating and executing against talent roadmaps, reporting and assess the performance programs.
- Define project plans, manage end-to-end implementation activities, and build tools, resources, capabilities and communications for project rollout and go live.
- Project manage, plan, and execute the rollout of innovative talent management processes including performance management and goal setting, talent assessments and reviews, feedback, coaching and mentoring programs, top talent programs, succession planning, leader onboarding programs, and career development programs.
- Responsible for evaluating effectiveness, ROI and inclusivity of existing talent management programs and driving continuous improvement to ensure organizational goals are met.
- Oversees reporting and dashboards for the talent function, analyzes data and synthesizes themes and takeaways for key milestones, including year-end performance period, Leadership Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, and Development Planning.
- Provides active leadership, guidance and oversight of annual performance management activities such as corporate and individual goals setting, development planning, quarterly check-in processes, annual reviews, and performance calibrations to ensure all associates and leaders are provided with the right tools and approaches for Performance Management.
- Implement and leverage talent analytics across the employee lifespan to identify leadership bench strength, influence decisions and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of ongoing talent initiatives.
- Manage design of digital talent management platforms and tools
About you:
- Minimum of 8 years of HR talent management experience in a fast-paced, global corporate environment, with progressive experience managing talent management processes and program implementation. Has a demonstrated track record for building talent management programs to scale for a hybrid workforce. Workday experience preferred.
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology and/or an MBA highly preferred. Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Management, Psychology or other related area desired.
- Deep knowledge of core Talent Management programs/processes, including performance management, promotions, succession planning, talent development, and organizational design.
- Strong skills in the design and implementation of multiple talent management projects of varying scope and scale, using a project management approach.
- Track record of applying organizational development practices in driving talent development and people change initiatives.
- A strong and credible track record within HR, with proven strategic skills combined with ability to execute to achieve results.
- Superb, written and verbal skills as well as prioritization and planning skills – with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in time sensitive matters and organized to manage and track multiple priorities simultaneously – grace under pressure and the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice.
- Outstanding social, communication, influence and facilitation skills. The role requires an excellent communicator who can quickly establish credibility and strong relationships across a network of stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You will seek to influence through persuasive arguments while addressing the perspectives of others to champion and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills to meet multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to improve processes and exercise judgment to work independently.
