Our client, Nestle Purina PetCare Company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the EA - Account Managers Department supporting defined teams in the organization. The ideal candidate will have work autonomously, communication and writing capabilities skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay: 63.22 - 73.68 / hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary role – Updating and creating power distribution system models, utilizing SKM Power Tools, per factory capital projects and requests. Deliverables from SKM include one-line diagram updates, TCCC plots, Breaker Settings, Arc Flash Calculations, and Arc Flash Labels.
• Secondary role - support the development and execution of engineering and design work packages related to Power Distribution infrastructure and Utilities/Building Systems.
• Execute engineering and design of site power distribution infrastructure. Includes development of work package Scopes of Work, and development of single-line diagrams, power distribution equipment layout drawings, duct bank detail and routing, cable tray/conduit and cable routing, grounding and bonding plans, and lightning protection system plans.
• Maintain working knowledge of Nestle Purina Engineering ways of working and engineering and design standards and guidelines.

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years working on the specification, engineering and design of industrial power distribution systems (medium and low voltage).
• 3+ years working with utilities and building mechanical control systems, including oversight of engineering and design and validating proper specification and design of the controls interface and interlocks between the equipment control systems and the site control systems.
• Proficiency in the use of SKM Power Tools
• Working knowledge of Medium Voltage and Low Voltage power distribution equipment, and Utilities/Mechanical systems controls.
