Summary
AtriCure is a Global Medical Device Manufacturing company with Headquarters in Mason, OH near Cincinnati. This is a new position within the HR Leadership team. This role will be responsible for global, strategic initiatives within Total Rewards including defining, developing, and communicating the Total Rewards philosophy, vision, and strategy to support short- and long-term goals. This role will manage a team and oversee benefits strategies.

What You Can Expect to do Day to Day

You will drive global Total Rewards performance and business results by:
  • Leading AtriCure’s global Total Rewards (Compensation and Benefits) by engaging with the CHRO and executive leadership team to continue to define, develop, communicate, and execute the Total Rewards philosophy, vision, and strategy.
  • Supporting enterprise Career Development Framework and associated career paths, and leveling criteria
  • Partnering with Sales Operations to help evaluate, modify, and design effective Sales compensation structures, including Sales incentive compensation.
  • Partnering with the executive leadership team on compensation recommendations for their teams, supporting the preparation of compensation documentation and presentation to the Board of Directors and ensuring compensation is competitive in the market using salary market data.
  • Developing effective analytics and metrics to monitor business impact and effectiveness
  • Fostering a collaborative, values-driven HR team culture of high standards, strong productivity, and innovation
You will work closely with your Benefits team to oversee:
  • All annual processes associated with Total Rewards, including planning and leading annual compensation and performance review cycles, benefits marketing and communications, and annual enrollment
  • Benefits strategy and design of global benefits, including health and welfare, retirement, and wellness programs including the development of a long-term roadmap benefit strategy
  • Vendor selection; monitor and manage selected vendors against service level agreements and effectiveness
You will be a Partner:
  • Work closely with Finance to help support equity planning, annual total rewards budget and various reporting and compliance activities as needed
  • Collaborate on Mergers, Acquisitions leading the Human Resource due diligence process
  • Monitors regulatory compliance and audits to ensure compliance is maintained, as well as responds to audit and regulatory inquiries
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related. A Master’s degree is desirable.
  • 15+ years of experience in development, implementation, and execution of compensation strategies in support of business objectives
  • Progressive and scaled compensation and benefits leadership roles with global experience
  • Sales incentive plan development experience
  • One or more certifications or demonstrated technical experience in compensation, benefits, HR leadership, and/or consulting; CCP designation preferred
  • Experience in the design and management of sales, executive, traditional, and non-traditional compensation programs
  • Demonstrable partnership and influencing skills, strong communication skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Strong analytical skills with mastery of Excel, PowerPoint and HR Systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced evolving organization able to consult with employees at all organizational levels.
