Job Summary:

Reporting to the SVP Revenue Operations, the Senior Director Process Optimization is responsible for the definition, implementation, management and enhancement of processes, systems and tools across Sales, GCCX, Marketing and Commercial teams. This executive will be responsible for working with program sponsors and key stakeholders to define program objectives, project scope and drive delivery of projects and RevOps transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Enable optimization of systems, tools and processes

  • Defines key global CRO operational systems, tools and process enhancements through initiation, business requirement definition, solution selection, functional design, development, testing, change management, go live, and post go live support. Owns technology investment and prioritization decisions.
  • Identify systems, tools and process improvement and integration opportunities by leading cross functional discussions / decision-making with CRO team leaders and IT to drive issues, challenges, resource allocation and prioritization efforts.
  • Oversees and has responsibility for the design, implementation and benefit realization of process optimization and CRO tech stack, including CRM platforms, partner platforms, CPQ systems, order management systems, SFDC, SIEBEL, marketing dev tools and others.
  • Drive prioritization and facilitate collaboration between BU teams, other RevOps teams and IT to ensure alignment & consistency of cross functional program objectives.
  • Owns and ensure engagement models between the Business Processes and Systems team and other Equinix teams are clear, streamlined and documented.
  • Develop and standardize “best in class” tools and templates ensuring consistency and harmonization across regions.
  • Responsible for compliance of data managed by RevOps teams with local and international laws (e.g., data protection).
  • Primary business partner for IT Systems lead, coordinating requirements across CRO functions.

Lead the Program Management Office

  • Oversees and is responsible for delivery of cross functional programs and projects against (i) agreed milestones on implementation roadmap, (ii) achievement of benefits against strategy-driven targets, and (iii) budget.
  • Ensure prioritization, optimal resource and budget allocation across portfolio of projects to ensure highest return on investment.
  • Ensure informed and timely decisions in addressing risks, issues and changes for the success of the project.
  • Implement Global Strategy for PMO Centre of Excellence which includes Portfolio, Program and Project management standards, training and (PPPM) levels to develop maturity.
  • Strike balance between effective communication with program sponsors whilst pragmatic with volume, frequency and/or content.

Lead Acquisition Integrations

  • Drive integration planning pre-close for a successful transition and alignment into CRO Equinix teams (Sales, Commercial Solutions, GGCX). Drive system/ process integration and ensure acquired customers and teams are smoothly integrated into Equinix. Help drive due diligence and post-close transition.
  • Accountable for overseeing the post-completion deliverables, within budget and oversee risk mitigation.

Thought Leader and Influencer within Revenue Operations

  • Partner with Enablement team on training needs and communications for system, process and tools changes.
  • Possess basic knowledge of how other CRO functions operate to understand and translate their needs into initiatives and support implementation efforts.
  • Liaise with project sponsors to manage expectations of project delivery timeline and risk management.
  • Mentor and motivate teams within the Processes & PMO organization to achieve productivity.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfers between teams through retrospective meetings.
  • Foster conversations with CRO leaders about process, systems & tools enhancements in their organizations.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Deep experience in business operations in an operational leadership role.
  • Experience in project management as Head of PMO / Transformation or similar leadership role.
  • Track record of driving design and adoption of process changes across cross functional and global teams, evidencing the benefits achieved to employees, customers and/or shareholders.
  • Expertise in making business critical decisions.
  • Familiarity with all business functions including sales, GCCX, marketing, commercial, HR, finance, supply chain, and IT.
  • Experience with implementing IT systems.
  • Familiarity with change management approaches, tools, and engagement models.
