Senior Director
The Senior Director will be responsible for the overall management of the Garland, TX office and work with the Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer to align and drive service strategy and operational functions including goal setting, performance targets and programs designed to ensure organizational success. This role will work with cross-functional teams to build a world-class service organization by improving the customer experience through the implementation of technology and processes.
- Supervises and develops staff through coaching, training, and performance management; defines success by department, setting goals in line with organizational objectives.
- Addresses client needs through the leveraging of organizational operations.
- Partners with Sales on Client Relationship goals to ensure exceptional service level expectations.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while providing expertise and guidance on projects and systems related to operations.
- Create, implement, and maintain a strong culture conducive of collaboration and teamwork.
- Provides guidance to line of business management to ensure compliance with all prescribed internal policies and regulatory practices.
- Tracks, analyzes and reports on departmental goals and office performance and works with leaders to achieve assigned goals.
- Collaborates with various company departments to ensure and maximize client profitability.
- Works with operations team to improve and devise best practices for processes and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar from an accredited college or university is required; a Master of Business Administration is preferred.
- Must have 10+ years of operational management experience.
- Previous credit union experience with knowledge of collateral protection insurance processes as well as the impact on skip claims associated with repossessions.
- Must have a proven track record as a successful leaders and communicator with measurable results in all key financial and revenue generation performance metrics.
- Strong organizational planning, project management, conflict resolution, communication, facilitation, and change management skills are required.
- Solid understanding of general business processes along with exceptional skills in sales and marketing with the aptitude to translate plans into actionable strategies.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations with capabilities to lead organizations through transformation.
This is a full-time, in-person/in-office position. The position is sedentary and requires sitting for long periods of time working on a computer or using other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift or move items up to 30+ pounds.
